Renon-Ritten

Nuovo!  Alioth railcar   The small Renon railway (Ritten, in German), just above Bolzano, is really a special world: the last line still working, among all the railways that were originally built under the Austrian Empire and that became Italian after the end of World War I.
The railcar built by Alioth has just left the stop of Colle Renon-Rappersbichl (September 2003).

Nuovo!  Alioth railcar   at the small stop of Costalovara-Wolfsgruben (September 2003). This railcar was originally built for the railway Dermulo-Fondo-Mendola (Trento) and moved to Renon in 1934, after the closure of that line. Although it does not belong to the original rolling stock, now it appears to be perfectly integrated in the Renon landscape.

Nuovo!  2-axe railcar   built in 1907 and belonging to the original rolling stock, in Soprabolzano-Oberbozen, the upper station of the cableway from Bolzano (September 2003).

Nuovo!  Former German Tram   arriving at L'Assunta-Maria Himmelfahrt, terminus of the short section west of Soprabolzano; the original rack section to Bolzano (closed in 1964) began here. This tram is a second hand one bought in 1982 from the German line Esslingen-Denkendorf (September 2003).
