In November 2000, when this site was born, it was the first Italian site devoted to the MM Railway Screensavers. Even now, many pages of the Stagniweb deal with MM and Traffic. This page summarises all available information.
Short info: With the railway screensaver produced by Martin and Manfred Meyer you can see hundreds of trains travelling and shunting on your PC monitor, all with realistic and ever changing compositions, ranging from Era 1 to nowadays. The screensaver costs only 17 Euro, and can be downloaded and bought on-line on www.mm-eisenbahn.de. With the release 3, each user is allowed to draw and add the rolling stock he prefers. From this site, you can download a set of Italian trains and tramways, ready to be inserted into the screen-saver. My last drawings were published long time ago, on 20 January 2005, but you can still use them!
Mit dem Eisenbahnbildschirmschoner von Martin und Manfred Meyer können Sie hunderte verschiedene Züge über Ihren Monitor fahren und rangieren lassen, mit realistischen und sich ständig verändernden Zugkompositionen von der Epoche 1 bis heute. Der Bildschirmschoner kostet nur EUR 17,- und kann online gekauft und heruntergeladen werden. www.mm-eisenbahn.de. Seit der neuen Version 3, kann jeder Benutzer seine eigenen Züge zeichnen und einfügen. Sie können von dieser Seite italienische Züge und Straßenbahnen, zum einfügen in den Bildschirmschoner herunterladen.

This table was previously included in the left-frame menu. In June 2009, I moved it here, in order to simplify the menu. I hope it won't be a problem...

Train captions in the INI files are generally available in Italian, English and (partially) German.
All new trains are painted with transparent background: pure black is not used inside the vehicle, but a very dark gray (16,16,16). In this way, you can consider pure black as the transparent color: this is especially useful if you are importing vehicles into the Traffic or BahnLand screensavers, which manage transparent pictures.
Most trains are directly available for Traffic, with a ready-for-use Stock List and Timetable File: go to Traffic Main Page.
For the first time, a train is painted in cross-sectioned view!
Half-size trains are available: many long trains will now fit your screen size!
Zugbeschreibungen in der INI-Datei sind nun in italienisch, english und (teilweise) deutsch erhältlich.
Alle neuen Züge wurden mit transparentem Hintergrund gezeichnet: Pur Schwarz wurde innerhalb der Fahrzeuge nicht benutzt, aber ein sehr dunkles Grau (16,16,16). Auf diese Art können Sie Pur Schwarz zur transparenten Farbe machen: Das ist besoders nützlich falls sie diese Fahrzeuge für die Bildschirmschoner BahnLand oder Traffic importieren wollen.

A Configuration Utility for User_BMP.INI is available. With this utility you can manage more than one INI file, correct wrong paths, append one file to another and even more.
Some INI files list trains in chronological order, so that you can attend an historical parade of FS rolling stock and trams from Milan, with appropriate captions.
Ein Konfigurations-Tool für die User_BMP.INI ist erhältlich. Mit diesem Tool können sie mehr als eine User_bmp.ini verarbeiten, falsche Pfade korrigieren, Dateien zusammenfügen und noch mehr.
Neue INI-Dateien listen die Züge in chronologischer Ordnung, so daß Sie bei einer historischen FS Eisenbahn und Mailänder Straßenbahn Parade dabeisein können, mit passenden Bildunterschriften.
Additional information (suggestions, technical reference for bitmaps, number of colours, palettes and so on) are also available.
